Having been to the site, read the original book, seen the movie, etc, I was hoping this book might be an interesting twist and offer some factoids that weren't present in the other accountings of what happened. And so it was. For the first 20% of the book. After that it became little more than the belittling of defense lawyers, talking bad about them and that everyone brought to trial is a criminal (yes, he actually wrote that) and that the only way a defense lawyer can win for his client is to use trickery and deception. Oh, and the prosecutors all have to abide by the rules and are all handicapped in their quest to lock up the criminals, all of which are guilty. When this message became the main theme, the reading got really boring and tedious, taking lots of effort to keep going in hopes something interesting would crop up.
